The grand old drinks of the South!

Das French Quarter, auch „Vieux Carré“ genannt, ist zweifellos das Herzstück von New Orleans. Hier befindet sich nicht nur die Wiege des Jazz, sondern hier wurde 1859 in der Royal Street 123, vom Apotheker Antoine Peychaud auch der erste offizielle Cocktail, namens Sazerac kreiert. Berühmtheit erlangte der Drink durch Peychaud’s Freund John B. Schiller in seinem Coffee House Sazerac, in der Alley Street 13.
